Holly Lehmann

SCCSS Volunteer, past SCCSS Board and Chair

Holly Lehmann boasts a rich and varied career spanning several decades, highlighted by her remarkable 43-year tenure with School District #46. She also served as a long-standing member and board chair of the SCCSS Board throughout the 1990s, including being the chair when the Inlet Avenue site was initially purchased (it was Holly’s name on the mortgage!).

Holly is a published writer and an award-winning poet. Her works are published in many Canadian works and anthologies. Her passion is writing for children.

In 2008, Holly embarked on a new journey in retirement, embracing this phase of life with enthusiasm and a zest for every moment. Despite stepping away from the workforce, her passion for community involvement remained unwavering.

Maintaining her enduring connection to SCCSS, Holly continues to serve as one of the longest-serving volunteers and members of the Community Services family. From championing the much-needed affordable housing project, Building Together, to lending her time and support at the Children’s programs and Family Place, she exemplifies a steadfast commitment to humanitarian causes and the local Sunshine Coast community.

“This building is an incredible asset to the people of the Sunshine Coast and I encourage everyone to support and celebrate this achievement.”
