A long-time resident, activist and conservationist, Elise (a retired physiotherapist) has been involved with many aspects of Land Use, Parks & Greenway Planning and Forestry Operational Plans. Elise’s extensive community involvement includes: Area B Director (1997-2000), Area B Planning Committee, Sargeant Bay Society, HMB Greenway Enthusiasts, Food Bank volunteer, Sunshine Coast Community Foundation, Sunshine Coast Trails Society and the Community Forest board.
For 50 years, Sunshine Coast Community Services Society (SCCSS) has been a community-based non-profit organization that provides critical support for families, children, youth, adults, and seniors through crisis response, support programs, housing, and advocacy. We are a non-government organization overseen by a volunteer board of directors, funded by government contracts, foundations, and community donations.
